Mālama Kīpuka Hawaiʻi (MKH) is a duly organized 501c3 Non-Profit Organization in the State of Hawai‘i dedicated to the creation of vibrant public spaces that serve the communities they are in. Help us to create and preserve our public spaces.

 

Kīpuka Cartwright Backboard

Kīpuka Cartwright Backboard projects an installation of large scale works of art on the surface in order to strengthen communities, improve park safety, and inspire people to think more critically and creatively about their environment.

MKH has signed an agreement with the City & County of Honolulu to work with the City to improve the safety and use of the park by the general community through field improvements.

Kakaʻako PARK(ing) Day

PARK(ing) Day is an annual event in which citizens, artists and activists nationwide temporarily transform a parking space into a “parklet,” or creative public space that will pop up that runs annually around the nation.
